Sorcery: Contested Realm Cards FAQs

How many cards do I need in a deck?

In Sorcery: Contested Realm, you will need a sealed deck which contains:

  • 1 powerful Avatar
  • A Spellbook which contains at least 50 spellbook cards - your arsenal of powerful minions, elemental spells, auras, and artifact cards
  • An Atlas which contains at least 30 cards - your sites with which you'll construct the realm around you

There is no maximum to how many deck cards you can use - you can build a deck that is any size as long as you can reasonably shuffle it yourself.

How many expansions does Sorcery: Contested Realm have?

Currently, the Sorcery TCG universe contains the base set, as well as the first expansion, "Arthurian Legends," released on October 4th, 2024.

Do you offer any membership discounts?

Yes, we do! With a flat fee of £40/year, you can become a Thistle Tavern member and get 5% off our listed price sealed products & singles (pre-made Flesh and Blood decks, boosters, board games, etc.), 5% off event entries, as well as half-price table fees (£5 for non-members, £2.50 for members).
